Dorchester County needs to embrace cutting-edge law enforcement techniques, including predictive analytics and intelligence gathering, to optimize the deployment of deputies, solve crimes, and keep our neighborhoods safe.

Reform Sheriff's Office Structure

We need to overhaul the Sheriff's office structure to ensure that law enforcement professionals are where they're needed most—on the streets, not confined to an office.

Enhanced Neighborhood Patrols

We need to implement stepped-up patrols to effectively deter car break-ins and property crimes and keep our neighborhoods safe. Also, we need more attention to the rising number of unhoused residents from both a public safety and a health perspective.

Keep Repeat Violent Offenders Off Streets

The Sheriff's office needs to work closely with the Solicitor's office to ensure the incarceration of repeat violent offenders, keeping our streets safe.
